We dropped Brian off at work this morning (sad for him and for us) and went into Arlington Cemetery. I was overwhelmed a few times by going on memorial day. Lots of veterans from different wars walking around in uniform, family members wearing T-Shirts of loved ones lost in war, and a flag at EVERY single gravestone. It was beautiful to see all the flags and I felt a great sense of gratitude for country and those who serve.

YOU are so smart to go there on Memorial day. How memorable for you, and probably for Sam as well. I wish I could have joined you, but your pictures are stunning and gave me quite a glimpse. I love you!
