Sam started FIRST GRADE today! He woke up at 6:30!!! (Three hours before school started!) What is more amazing than that is that he usually rises between 9 and 10 a.m. When he came to our bed fully dressed and ready before 7 we were both shocked.
We walked Sam to school and on the way a member in our ward was having a "back to school" breakfast with all the kids in the neighborhood. Lots of fun.

Awe... All day School! I'm already having mixed emotions and we've still got 2 more years. Sam sure is growing up! Love those cute kiddos!

Sam will be a stellar student just like his parents were. He is already so smart. I'm sure he'll be able to teach his teacher a thing or two about origami or music or super heros. We are so proud of that young man! He is really growing up.
