Weekend at Vin Hagen

This weekend we went with Bry and Aimee to a really cool cabin called Vin Hagen. It is over 100 years old and used to be a hunting lodge that Pres. Roosevelt visited. The kids had a great time catching frogs, playing in the lake and playing outdoors.

Brian in the hot tub. The boys cut wood and stoked the fire and got it up to 105 degrees. The hot tub has a plug like a bathtub to pull inside it and an opening to put the wood in to heat it up.

The cabin had no electricity - we all wore head lamps at night to see where we were going. A little drafty and cold at night.

Auntie Aimee reading spooky stories to the kids by the fireplace.

The whole crew. Tom and Cynthia (Stone) Stringham, Stewarts and McConkies

Gwen McConkie, Mae McConkie, Sam Stewart, Sara Jane (Ava's friend) Vivian Stewart and Ava McConkie
