Columbia Irongirl August 24, 2008

(Pre-Race 7:30 a.m.)

(Getting into the water - my number is 1771)

(Run to transition AND the last time B and the kids saw me. Poor guy, the kids were pretty bored waiting and were not cooperating like "little angels.")

(Post race. Viv: I'm outta here!)

Good job Kelly! And you got a lot better medals than we did in my race - great t-shirts, cheap medals. I guess you can't have it all :) Too bad we don't live closer and you could teach me how to do a triathalon or biathalon.

That is so cool, Kelly. I love that you have so many interests. What's impressive is that you're able to find time to train with kids. I know how that can be hard for me. I miss being able to talk to you...and the whole music scene in DC, but alas, such is life. I need to talk to you about where you guys are headed next summer!
